A collograph is a print made when objects are added to the printing plate. For Kennedy 3rd graders the added objects were pieces of cut foam, corrugated paper, and other craft items. The video below shows students applying paint to their collograph plate, rubbing to transfer the image to paper, and pulling their print. Even older students are always amazed by the appearance of the final image. Students hand colored their best print to add visual interest and movement.
